How to book an appointment

We start with determining if we are a good fit and how to set up payment and scheduling your first appointment. You can call, email or text to get intake started.

After we connect, all of my clients start with intake through the website Simple Practice. Simple Practice is where I do hipaa compliant electronic record keeping, forms and collect private pay payments. This is similar to sitting down at an office to do initial paperwork, but it’s online and simple. You just need access to an email. 

From here we will arrange private pay or insurance payment through one of my online billers. Once you have completed the online set up in each system, we schedule your first appointment. 

Hourly rates for private pay clients are currently $120/hr.

I utilize billing companies to interface with insurance companies to negotiate rates, panel with multiple insurance providers and to collect payments and copayments for sessions. The companies I currently use are Alma and Grow Therapy. These are the insurance companies I am currently paneled with through these billers:

United/Optum

Aetna

Cigna

Oscar

Oxford

BCBS  of Florida

BCBS of Massachusetts 

Depending on which insurance you have, you will then complete intake with the online biller (Alma or Grow Therapy). Once you’ve completed your intake with the biller for insurance and copayment information, we can schedule. While these billers do their best to confirm benefits, it is up to you to confirm coverage with your insurance providers and request any necessary prior authorizations. I am able to list who I am currently credentialed with through Alma and Grow Therapy, but you will be responsible for communicating with your insurance company. I very much appreciate your understanding and support in this way. It helps us keep our sessions focused on therapy.
